A cycle club for retired and refined gentlemen, who indulge, weekly, in gentle exercise ......... and deep and meaningful banter

The Weston Old Gits are a group of like-minded guys, from Weston-super-Mare or nearby in North Somerset, who enjoy a short cycle ride together every week.
We are all (substantially) retired blokes and our age range spans 20 years, and we have varying degrees of fitness.
We are occasionally joined by friends and relatives who may not fit these criteria.

The objectives of our ride are:

Usually about 10-15 of us turn out every Tuesday, but numbers more or less than these have been known, depending on the weather forecast.
We welcome new riders, just turn up on a Tuesday. Our standard, roughly circular, route is about 18 miles but most Old Gits add a few miles riding to and from the meeting point at the Borough Arms.
*BUT NOTE: We do vary our route and cycle all over North Somerset. Our other starting points are on the promenade by Knightstone Road by the Marine Lake and at the west end of the prom by the beach huts. So check the website for details of the next ride.

Your browser should automatically go to the Old Gits' website with ride details, photos and up-to-date news etc.
